Curriculum Delivery Procedure 2.05 Remote Emergency Teaching and Learning.pdf

Currently (Aug 18th 2021) we are at Alert Level 4.

At this unprecedented time we encourage our families to ensure that you are taking the time to spend time doing things that allow you to enjoy each other's company and things at home that you might not usually get time to do - cooking, playing board games, building lego, painting pictures, being storytellers, reading with and to each other, making crafts, making huts from blankets, hopscotch, skipping, gardening . . . the list is endless!

We have however compiled a range of learning resources for you and your children to enable learning experiences to continue while in lockdown. Remember that we aren't expecting you to be teachers - but you can help your children stay connected to our school.

Teachers will be running two zoom sessions a week that children can link into.

Classes have online learning links (see below).

We have additional learning links (also below) for

  • Online learning opportunities and websites that might be of interest

  • Extra curricular - links to Junior Singing, Choir and Kapahaka resources for you to practice at home

  • Mandarin - Betty our Mandarin teacher is making YouTube videos for children to try at home.
