Whose supporting us?

We are very grateful to the organisations that support our school to provide the opportunities that we can for our students.

Since 2021 we have received a number of grants from contestable funds that enabled us to undertake things that we otherwise wouldn't have been able to do.

Dean & Coleman Law

$5000 for the support of our Structured Literacy Programme and implementation. 

This will supply each classroom with a teaching kit, as well as Senior reading resources that interest our older readers, and support the Structured Literacy approach.

Network Waitaki

2023 $8000 for the support of our Aquatics Programme

2022 $6500 for the support of our Aquatics Programme

2021 $5000 for the purchase of new Miniball and Basketball uniforms, as well as a set of Hockey Goalie gear.

Donation of Lime

This donation was a wonderful fundraiser for our Yr 5-8 camps.

2022 $25,000 to go towards the purchase & development of a Kitchen Classroom.

2022 $900 Education Fund for Camps

2021 $63000 over two years for our Maker Space development of Digital Learning tools and supporting our Gifted programmes.

We have state of the art equipment!

Creatives in Schools (MoE) 

A $13000 grant that enabled the purchase of high tech streaming equipment that enabled our 'Watching Weston' TV programmes to be recorded, and live streaming of assemblies and celebrations (invaluable during Covid times) - and to have specialist movie director tuition.
